Bio: Jessica Salazar
Otra Vez owner and lead designer Jessica Salazar is a Washington native, born and raised on a small farm in Skagit Valley with her three brothers and amazing parents.
Otra Vez encompasses much of what Jessica is passionate about; giving back to local and global communities, conscious and sustainable living, and beautiful creations. She feels so blessed to be able to express herself creatively as an artist, and to make a difference and a living, all at the same time.
Jessica considers herself an artist of several realms, a master at none, but always willing to try new things and never afraid to get her hands dirty. She loves to work with mosaic, (she has created several large scale commercial mosaic murals), photography, mixed media, and of course jewelry making.
Jessica currently resides in the Seattle neighborhood of Fremont with her best friend and wonderful husband Beto, and goldfish Tony.
She serves of the board of directors for HHTTW School and Orphanage in Liberia, Africa and for the Riley W. Johnson Memorial Foundation. Jessica is also a member of Sostane: Seattle’s Community of Green Women. Visit her Sostane Bio: Sostane~Jessica
